Comm’r George Mentz JD MBA CILS (乔治·孟子) (ماينز ، جورج) is a globally recognized education executive, entrepreneur, attorney, law professor, and award-winning author and educator based in the United States. Mentz currently serves as a Civil Service Police Commissioner, Transportation Airport Commissioner, and has held the position of Federal White House Education Department Commissioner for the Presidential Scholars Program since 2019. He volunteered for several U.S. presidents and administrations without compensation or recognition. Mentz is the first law professor in the United States to be triple credentialed in Management Consulting, International Law, Wealth Management/Financial Consulting, and Financial Planning, holding an MBA and JD (Doctor of Jurisprudence) along with a U.S. law license. He is one of the few individuals in the U.S. with a CILS Graduate Certificate/Diploma in International Legal Studies.

As a global leader in skills education, quality standards, and accreditation, Mentz is the CEO and General Counsel of the first company in the U.S. to achieve accreditation in Europe and certifications in ISO 29990, ISO 9001, ISO 29993, and ISO 21001 for educational standards. He has also formed legal alliances with accreditation bodies like ACBSP, ECLBS, QAHE, IACSB, IACSB , and the CHE Private Council of Higher Education Quality Standards. In 2020, the U.S. Government recognized skills education and certification as equivalent to degrees and diplomas.

Mentz pioneered the integration of accredited program exams and courses into board certifications through legal agreements, beginning in 2004. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and the Denver Post regarding the approval of accredited college exams and courses as valid pathways to certification. Through his companies, Mentz has partnered with some of the world’s largest educational providers such as Reuters, Informa, EdX, Queens College, University of California, and many more, offering training programs and certifications aligned with IACSB, IACSB , ISO 29993,  ACBSP and AACSB business accreditation standards.

A two-time national award-winning speaker/professor, Mentz has authored over 50 books and audiobooks, covering a range of topics from Management, Finance, and Education to Wealth Management, Developmental Psychology, Metaphysics, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Spirituality. He has provided ISO-certified education and certifications to thousands of individuals in over 25 countries and trained people in more than 150 nations.

As an e-learning pioneer, Mentz has taught over 300  courses in law, MBA, and business over the past 25 years. His books on Self-Help, Wealth Management, and Leadership have become bestsellers, with Mentz also contributing as a Newsmax Insider economics and finance commentator. His book Quantum Bliss won an IBA Award for its contribution to spirituality and self-help. Mentz’s writings have made a significant impact, with his analysis of President Donald Trump’s success principles published in 2020.

Mentz is a proud Sicilian-Hispanic with Native American and North African heritage and a broadly Northwestern European/Eurasian background. He holds several advisory credentials and wealth management designations and has provided consulting services to major corporations globally, including Financial Times Global 500 companies and privately held corporations in more than 20 nations.

As a Knight of the Order of St. George Habsburg Lothringen, Mentz was awarded an honorary DSS Doctor of Spiritual Studies by the Emerson Institute for his research and publications.
